Every year, the KD-BANK FOUNDATION supports innovative projects run by church and diaconal organisations that tackle social challenges and break new ground. Funding ranges from 500 to 3,000 euros per project.

Purposes of funding and eligibility criteria
Tax-exempt church and diaconal organisations may apply with projects that fall within one of the current funding priorities. Applications must be submitted online and must include a detailed project description. Further information can be found here. Funding is available for ideas that are already being implemented or can be implemented in the near future.
The funding priorities for the 2027 round are as follows:
- Supportive pastoral care in church ministry
- Innovative use of church premises in cooperation with (non-church) partners
- Hospice care
- Sustainable projects in the Church and social welfare work
