Your commitment with that wow factor
No time or money for public relations? No problem! Together with WOW Magazine Ludwigshafen, we’ve given some of you the chance to tell your stories. Andy Heinrich and Murat Bilir visited the Wald- und Wiesenfreunde Maudach e.V., TSV Ludwigshafen and the neighbourhood parents’ group, and saw for themselves what makes your commitment so special. You can find the stories, photos and short videos in WOW Magazine Ludwigshafen and on the Instagram channels of WOW Magazine Ludwigshafen and LUnited.
Course: LUnited Club Manager
In collaboration with the Ludwigshafen Adult Education Centre, LUnited will once again be offering the training course to become a certified club manager from September 2026. This training programme is aimed at volunteers and full-time staff from clubs and initiatives in Ludwigshafen and Mannheim who already hold positions of responsibility within their own organisations or wish to take on greater responsibility in the future. Registration is now open via the Ludwigshafen Adult Education Centre (VHS).

The training programme to become a certified association manager offers those in leadership roles a comprehensive insight into all key areas essential for the effective and sustainable leadership and management of their association. Spanning 14 modules and a total of 58 teaching units, the course covers topics including the legal framework, financial fundamentals, member recruitment, press relations and club communication. Practical challenges such as regulations governing the organisation of festivals and events are also discussed, as is the forward-looking topic of artificial intelligence and its specific applications in the day-to-day running of a club.
The course begins on 19 September 2026 and ends on 30 January 2027. There are 20 places available: 15 for clubs from Ludwigshafen and 5 for clubs from Mannheim. Registration is open until 10 August 2026 via the VHS Ludwigshafen website. If the course is oversubscribed, a maximum of one person per club will be admitted.
