euward10 – European Art Prize for Art Brut

With the euward10, the Augustinum Foundation honours artists working within the context of contemporary Art Brut. Three prize-winners will receive cash prizes, a catalogue of their work and the opportunity to exhibit their works at the Haus der Kunst in Munich.

The euward is the most important European art prize for contemporary Art Brut and has been awarded by the Munich-based Augustinum Foundation since 2000. Art Brut refers to art created by people who work without formal artistic training and develop their own artistic style. Many of them live with an intellectual or mental disability.
The aim of the euward is to support artists who have so far remained unseen due to individual disadvantages and to make their work accessible to the public.
To apply, six selected examples of your own artistic work in an exclusively two-dimensional medium must be submitted by 10 October 2026.
