"My Club of the Year 2026" Volunteer Award

In the nationwide competition “MeinVerein of the Year 2026” organised by WISO MeinVerein, charitable organisations can showcase their work and projects and win attractive cash and non-cash prizes. A total of more than 50,000 euros will be awarded.

Registered, non-profit associations based in Germany are eligible to take part. There are two options:
For the Community Award, organisations collect votes from their community. The 50 organisations with the most votes will be recognised. The 50 organisations with the most votes will receive prizes of 3,000 euros for first place, 2,000 euros for second, 1,000 euros for third and 500 euros each for places 4 to 10. Places 11 to 50 will receive non-cash prizes.
Anyone wishing to present a specific club project can also take part in the Project Award. Projects will be recognised in the categories of Society, Digitalisation and Environmental Protection. In each category, the first-place winner will receive 10,000 euros, the second-place winner 3,000 euros and the third-place winner 1,000 euros. A panel of experts will assess the submitted projects based on criteria including impact, innovation and sustainability.
Applications can be submitted until 31 August 2026. To take part, you’ll need a free public organisation profile on WISO MeinVerein. The winners will be announced on 19 October 2026 and presented with their awards at the ceremony in Hamburg on 18 November 2026.
