Movers of Tomorrow Award 2026: Prize money for young people making a difference
Engagement, Jugend, Wettbewerb
Nominations for the Allianz Foundation’s Engagement Award are open until 20 July 2026 for committed young people aged 16 to 24. The Movers of Tomorrow Award 2026 is looking for young people who are committed to social justice, social cohesion and climate action. Fifty winners will be selected and will each receive 1,500 euros in prize money.
Nomination required
Participation is by way of nomination by a third party. It is a prerequisite that the nominated person has been informed in advance and consents to taking part. Once the nomination phase has ended, the Allianz Foundation will select 150 young people who will present their commitment in a short video. The winners of the People’s Choice Award will then be decided by a public online vote.
The award comprises a People’s Choice Award and a Jury Prize. A total of 50 prize-winners will be honoured. The winners of the online public vote will each receive 1,500 euros in prize money. From this group, the jury will also select ten particularly committed individuals, who will receive a further 3,500 euros. This means that the jury prize winners can win a total of 5,000 euros. Furthermore, the Allianz Foundation invites all award recipients to the awards ceremony in Berlin on 13 November 2026 and offers them the opportunity to join an alumni network.
