Piepenbrock Volunteer Initiative: 1,000 euros for projects close to our hearts

Through its volunteering initiative ‘Spotlight on the person closest to your heart’, Piepenbrock honours people who go the extra mile for others. Three selected volunteers will each receive 1,000 euros for a project close to their hearts, a charity or a not-for-profit initiative of their choice. They will also be featured on Piepenbrock’s website and social media channels. Participation is by nomination from another person.

What is being recognised?

The focus is on the personal commitment of volunteers. The following criteria, amongst others, are taken into account during the selection process:

• The scope and duration of the commitment

• The distinctive nature of the voluntary work

• Long-term benefits of the work

• Personal motivation

• Impact on the community or the target group being supported

The Piepenbrock online form is used for nominations. In this form, you can describe the nominated person’s voluntary work and explain why their commitment deserves an award. Their consent must be obtained beforehand. Self-nominations are not permitted. Eligibility is restricted to adults resident in Germany. Piepenbrock employees are excluded.
