From authorisation to proof of expenditure
This training course is aimed at people who are undertaking a grant-funded project for the first time or who wish to review and improve their existing grant management practices.
Once a grant application has been approved, the actual project work begins: grant funds must be drawn down correctly, used in accordance with the financial plan and subsequently accounted for. The workshop covers the basics of grant management and explains what to bear in mind when dealing with public grants. The focus is on the correct use of the approved funds and preparing the statement of expenditure. The content can also be applied to other funding bodies.
