Law in Public Relations (Module I)

Communication, Social media, Law

Tuesday, 20 October 2026, 10.00 am – 1.00 pm, online. Cost: €60.00. Organised by the Rhineland-Palatinate Cultural Office.

Whether on a website, in a leaflet or on a social media platform, wherever content is published, the question of its legal permissibility immediately arises. This seminar provides an overview of the legal principles governing the use of images, graphics and photographs, as well as third-party texts, music and videos. Considerations regarding the protection of personal rights – and in particular the right to one’s own image – as well as guidance on the requirements for drafting consent forms round off the topic. Participants are invited to actively contribute their own questions from their day-to-day work to the discussion. The two parts of the event can be booked separately. Attending both events provides a comprehensive overview.
