Public procurement law in the cultural sector

Law, Culture

Thursday, 24 September 2026, 10.00 am – 1.00 pm, online. Cost: €60.00. Organised by the Rhineland-Palatinate Cultural Office.

Experience shows that public procurement law is just as unpopular as it is relevant in practice within the cultural sector. This seminar breaks down this topic – which may initially seem daunting – into a manageable format for practitioners. It sharpens participants’ awareness of the pitfalls of public procurement law whilst also highlighting the opportunities it offers. It demonstrates how the requirements for quality and creativity can be met in a legally compliant manner, even within a public procurement procedure. The topics covered in this legal seminar have been specifically selected for the cultural sector. The primary aim is to impart fundamental knowledge and raise awareness of public procurement issues.
