DSEE Explains Funding: From Funding Approval to Success – Using Project Management Tools Effectively

The joy is immense – you’ve received the good news that your funding application has been approved! But then the actual project work begins – and often so does the frustration. People frequently lack the knowledge to plan and implement projects efficiently. In this webinar, we’ll show you the key steps in project management and introduce you to practical, easy-to-use tools for effective scheduling and strategic task allocation. This will help you maintain an overview of the implementation process and ensure a successful project completion, including the statement of expenditure.

This webinar is aimed at beginners who want to carry out their first funded projects and are looking for project management insights to ensure a successful implementation.

Speaker: Simone Piep

Simone Piep has been working full-time at Lebenshilfewerk Mölln-Hagenow since 2018 and has gradually built up the organisation’s grant management unit during this time. Prior to this, she studied educational science at the University of Hamburg. Since 2022, she has been a member of the steering group for the ‘Mölln Inklusiv’ inclusion project, funded by Aktion Mensch, and since May 2025 she has been a member of the management team for the ‘Grant Fundraising’ specialist group within the German Fundraising Association. In addition to her main role, she has been advising small associations and voluntary initiatives on grant fundraising for the past two years.
