Applications for the 16th Civil Society Prize awarded by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) are open until 6 November 2026. The prize is worth a total of 30,000 euros and may be shared amongst up to three winners.
Initiatives to tackle poverty wanted
The awards recognise effective, innovative and creative charitable initiatives aimed at combating poverty in the EU.
Applications may be submitted by individuals, civil society organisations and private companies, provided they are carrying out a charitable initiative. The focus is on initiatives that contribute to the promotion of European identity, European values and European integration.
