Recognising and addressing boundaries in voluntary work

Resilience

Wednesday, 25 November 2026, 5.00 pm – 6.15 pm, online, free of charge. Part of the ‘DSEE Explains Resilience’ series. Organised by the German Foundation for Civic Engagement and Volunteering.

Staying strong together

In this webinar, we’ll show that resilience in voluntary work is a collective endeavour. It’s about creating a culture in which burnout is identified at an early stage: rather than ‘I can handle it’, the focus is on ‘We look out for one another’, supported by open communication. Specific tools will be presented and tried out: low-threshold check-in rituals strengthen team cohesion, a personal ‘user guide’ makes preferences and boundaries visible, and a peer support model establishes shared responsibility. The aim is to foster a strong, collaborative spirit.

The webinar is aimed at beginners; it lays the foundations for understanding resilience in voluntary work.
