How to have difficult conversations when you’re well prepared
In many roles, difficult conversations and negotiations are part of everyday life – for example, as a manager dealing with staff, as a team leader dealing with the group, or as a representative of your own organisation dealing with funders. In this seminar, you will learn how to prepare in a structured way, present yourself with confidence and negotiate fair, win-win solutions using systemic strategies and tactics.
Whether dealing with funders, staff or teams, specialists and managers repeatedly find themselves in challenging discussion and negotiation situations. Often, what is lacking is a clear structure, a deliberate repertoire of tactics and strategies, and the inner confidence to present oneself effectively.
This is where the event comes in: based on systemic negotiation techniques, helpful models and practical tools are taught so that participants can steer difficult discussions more consciously, represent their own interests and, at the same time, build sustainable working relationships. Increasing demands, scarce resources and complex expectations make professional discussion and negotiation skills more relevant than ever.
